Having the right hair color will make your complexion glow from within. At Fisher Experience our colorists will offer several suggestions as soon as he or she sees your skin tone and eye color.
We recommend that you do give this some thought beforehand to determine for yourself whether you have a warm or cool undertone.
Hold a white piece of paper against your cheek. If your skin looks pink against the paper, your cool. If you skin appears yellow or olive, your warm.
A cool skin tone means you should avoid hair colors in warm tones such as gold, auburn, or copper. Instead, try icy, ash, or cool neutral shades.
A warm skin tone can get away with many more hues. But in general, use warmer shades to off-set the yellowundertones of your skin and avoid ashy tones–they tend to make you look sallow.
More specifically, beware of bright blonde shades which can bring out the green in olive skin. Try caramel or butterscotch instead.
At Fisher Experience, we have been choosing the correct hair color for our clients for over 25 years and thank you for trusting us.
Sincerely,
Bruce Fisher
